What You’ll Do:
At Edward Jones, the Learning Systems Manager is responsible for researching, selecting, configuring, rolling out, and supporting technologies within the firm. Successful candidates will be comfortable working independently to improve our technology stack through strong technical knowledge, advanced communication skills, and deep experience in stakeholder management.

In this role, you will work within Enterprise Learning and beyond to support the technology used to drive our learning content. This includes traditional asset development platforms, learning management systems, but also extends into generative AI and automation-based solutions to improve our efficiency, capabilities, and product quality.

Here are a few of the key responsibilities you will be a part of…
 

  • Modernize the learning technology stack through research, business case development, stakeholder management, requirements gathering and drafting, prototyping, use case development, testing, and workflow optimization.
  • Navigate firm governance boards to adopt new products while accounting for firm risk.
  • Leverage AI and automation-based solutions (e.g., Power Automate) to improve department efficiency, capabilities, and deliverable quality.
  • Manage change across a wide set of technical, executive, and learning stakeholders to ensure technology adoption and return on investment.
  • Feel comfortable working independently through ambiguity to help the team identify a clear vision and direction.
  • Draft and champion design standards that ensure responsive design, high usability scores, and consistent accessibility in service of impactful, fit-to-purpose learning and development initiatives that achieve business outcomes.
  • Partner with professionals to remove constraints to the use of firm technology that can be used to optimize learning outcomes, including digital learning cohorts, practice and simulations, and integration of learning into the flow of work.
  • Create digital workflows that enhance our ability to create best-in-class learning experiences with ease and speed, improve the efficiency of learning content use and maintain our culture of compliance.
  • Populate and maintain the Enterprise Learning library of learning design templates and assets to ensure first-time quality of learning deliverables.
  • Establish and manage learning technology metrics and key performance indicators.
  • Scale design innovations across Enterprise Learning by documenting custom code and distributing templates for complex digital learning experience solutions
  • Establish best practices and quality rubrics for effective learning design and delivery for new learning technology use.
  • Mentor learning and performance professionals at a variety of levels in the use of technology-driven learning design options, search optimization, graphical treatments, and digital visualizations of learning and performance data.
  • Co-lead the evaluations of new technology options and liaise with the Learning product team to manage resource requirements and ongoing investments in Learning Technology.
  • Ensure the delivery of quality digital learning solutions by anticipating, testing, and remediating potential technical limitations or user acceptance problems before product release.

Hiring Minimum: $99,200
Hiring Maximum: $168,900
