Description
The Instructional Designer (ID) designs, develops, implements, maintains, and evaluates online, blended, and web-enhanced courses for adult and traditional learners using sound instructional design practices employing multimedia and other emerging technologies for all learning formats. They bring innovative approaches to technology-mediated curriculum design and have a strong grounding in theoretical foundations for such innovation. The primary responsibility of this position is working with faculty to develop online and blended courses that enhance student learning through engaging digitally- based pedagogy/andragogy. The ID will work closely with subject matter experts to best reach the student audience. The ID provides training to faculty and others on course development processes and best practices for instructional and assessment strategies. The ID also provides direct support to students and instructors in the use of the college’s learning management system. This is a fully remote position.
