Job Summary
This exciting position plays a vital role in supporting the Jindal School of Management’s ability to deliver online courses with consistency and high quality. The primary responsibilities include evaluating and assessing both asynchronous and synchronous courses for alignment with JSOM standards, through the review of syllabi and course content. The role also provides technical support for refreshing online courses within the learning management system (LMS).
The selected candidate will coordinate with the JSOM Academic Director of Distance Learning and faculty to implement course updates that meet JSOM standards.
The ideal candidate is naturally curious and enjoys exploring innovative processes and technologies that enhance the effectiveness and engagement of online programs. A key aspect of this role involves providing thoughtful feedback to faculty to support course improvements. Additionally, this position will assist with training faculty and student workers involved in the synchronous delivery of courses.
Minimum Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in instructional technology, education, communications, information technology, curriculum design or related field; three to five years experience in course design, curriculum design or e-learning, preferably in higher education; experience with graphic and multimedia authoring software and Web site design software; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
