Join our team as a Master Trainer, where you’ll lead on-site training initiatives, driving global standards and workforce development to enhance production efficiency and foster continuous improvement!

Core Responsibilities 

Global Responsibilities: 

  • Engage in global networking activities, including online meetings and face-to-face workshops, to enhance the alignment of training materials with global colleagues. 
  • Ensure high-quality logistics for sending and receiving trainers and trainees across sites, developing validated training plans and practical conditions. 
  • Provide and support training initiatives at various locations as needed. 

Local Responsibilities: 

  • Coordinate daily operations for Global Job Trainers, local trainers, and Technical Writers within the functional area. 
  • Identify local training needs, measure training efficiency, and support training delivery based on production requirements using Job Instruction methodology and classroom training. 
  • Actively participate in daily huddles and coordinate training activities, including the development of training plans. 
  • Support PPS/Focus Boards through proactive training initiatives  
  • Collaborate with shift leaders on training related to high season ramp-up, new technologies, and capacity planning. 
  • Assist in the selection, development, motivation, and evaluation of Local Job Trainers in partnership with line management and the Learning Center. 

Training Documentation: 

  • Ensure the quality, precision, and accuracy of training documentation, adhering to both global and local requirements in collaboration with partners across various departments (Engineering, Production, QA, R&D, EHS, LC, LCI). 

Result Orientation:  

  • Deliver impactful training that meets production needs, demonstratinga structured approach to planning and delivering training and documentation. Drive the training organization toward sustainable results on both local and global scales. 

Collaboration:  

  • Optimally coordinate training activities with Global and Local Job Trainers and Technical Writers. Embrace diverse cultures and communication styles to positively influence business performance.

Master Trainer will ensure the local deployment of globally aligned training standards. This role is crucial for identifying local training needs and coordinating training efforts in collaboration with line management to systematically support workforce development. The ideal candidate will act as a strategic partner in enhancing training processes and fostering continuous improvement in our production environment.

This is an on-site position primarily working on the shop floor, engaging directly with production teams to facilitate effective training and development.

Do you have what it takes?

  • Proven experience in a functional area with a strong background in training and learning activities
  • Specialized education which is relevant to the functional area, along with a passion for learning and development. 
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite, particularly Excel; experience with Power BI is a plus. 
  • Bilingual skills are a plus but not required. 
  • Experience in a supervisory role leading a team is preferred. 
  • Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on innovation. 
  • Familiarity with TWI (Training within Industry) and document control processes is beneficial. 

Travel Requirements:

This position will require some global travel

Compensation

The salary for this position has a range of $73,703.00 – $110,555.00 based on anticipated responsibilities, market benchmarks, and organizational constraints. The LEGO Group carefully considers a wide range of compensation factors, including but not limited to prior experience, skills, expertise, location, internal equity, and other considerations permitted by law. The comprehensive remuneration details, inclusive of benefits, will be communicated upon finalisation of the employment offer.
