The Pennsylvania Treasury Department is seeking an enthusiastic and innovative Human Resource Analyst 1, with a working title of Instructional Developer and Illustrator, to join our small, dedicated team within the Bureau of Human Resources. Description Of Work

The Pennsylvania Treasury Department is an independent agency led by the elected State Treasurer and one of the largest state treasuries in the country, serving as custodian of more than $150 billion. Treasury plays a critical role in state government operations, acting as the custodian, investor, and disburser of funds for nearly all state agencies. Treasury also offers a wide range of programs and services to Pennsylvania families, including the PA 529 College and Career Savings Program; the PA ABLE Savings Program for people with disabilities; and our work to return more than $4 billion of Unclaimed Property to its rightful owners. As an Instructional Developer and Illustrator, your primary role will be to revise and develop training courses, both in-person and eLearning, ensuring they are engaging, accessible, and meet the department’s objectives. In this role, you will utilize Articulate 360, Storyline, and other design software to create on-demand training modules and develop visual materials such as presentations, workbooks, guides, and tips using Adobe Creative Cloud and Canva. You will also create and update SharePoint and eLearning training sites and provide support during training course deliveries.
 

Work Schedule and Additional Information: 

  • Full-time employment
  • Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday – Friday, with a 60-minute lunch.
  • Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time, up to 2 days per week. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office. The ability to telework is subject to change at any time. Additional details may be provided during the interview.

Required Experience, Training & Eligibility

Qualifications

Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

  • One year of experience in the performance of technical human resource duties; AND a bachelor’s
    degree; or 
  • An equivalent combination of experience and training.

Additional Requirements:

  • You must have proficient experience creating courses using Articulate Storyline 360.
  • You must have experience using Canva.
  • You must have working knowledge of the effective use of the English language and composition.
  • You must have experience using Microsoft applications such as Word, Excel, and Outlook, web-based utilities or the ability to learn relevant software to perform job duties.
  • You must be able to perform essential job functions.

Preferred Qualifications (not required):

  • Experience using Adobe Creative Cloud or other design software
  • Full-time professional experience in instructional development
  • Full-time professional experience in graphic design
