As a Training Specialist, you’ll be responsible for developing and launching creative and effective training courses for your localized market and company-wide needs.  You will be delivering those training via live classroom, virtual classroom, and 1:1 coaching. You will facilitate engagement and interaction when leading a classroom and build on-going relationships with your “students.” 


This group partners with local management to ensure your priorities and training programs align with training needs of the market. You’ll pilot new training initiatives to determine overall effectiveness. You operate with a high level of autonomy and take ambiguous requests/goals and refine them into specific goals and training initiatives to meet them. You serve as a resource or mentor/buddy to junior members of the T&D team.


The Role 

Training Development and Delivery: 

  • Design and deliver training programs via live classroom sessions, virtual platforms, and one-on-one coaching.
  • You provide ‘train the trainer’ support for managers outside Training & Development, who are responsible for delivering or monitoring training you provide them
  • Partner with local management teams to ensure training aligns with both company-wide goals and market-specific needs.
  • Serve as a point of contact for major company initiatives and  new product launches.
  • You may support a Training Manager or Program Manager as the point of contact to a key group within Redfin, either a strategy team, service arm (buy or sell), non-core business, or other defined group of learners.
     

Evaluate and Improve Training Programs:

  • Assess the effectiveness of training programs based on feedback and observation, adjusting content as needed to ensure continued relevance and impact.
  • Monitor and communicate the results and areas for improvement to stakeholders and leadership.
  • Participate in goal-setting and project prioritization with Training & Development leadership on a quarterly basis.
  • Manage internal and external communications with stakeholders and vendors.
     

Support Ad Hoc Projects:

  • Provide support for unplanned or urgent projects, including new product launches or special market needs.
  • Collaborate with other members of the Training & Development team as necessary to meet organizational priorities.
     

Who you are 

  • 3+ years of experience in the real estate industry is required, particularly in the transaction process or in a learning and development support role for agents. 
  • Proven experience in delivering training to diverse groups of learners, with strong facilitation skills in both live and virtual environments.
  • Ability to collaborate with leadership and stakeholders to align training with business goals.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders effectively.
  • Familiarity with modern job training methods and techniques, including e-learning platforms and Learning Management Systems (LMS).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to present complex information to an executive audience.
  • Proficiency in Google Suite and other business software.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Psychology, or a related field is preferred. Experience in real estate training is a plus, and an active real estate license may be required.

Work Environment and Physical Requirements:

  • This role may require travel up to 30% of the time to support training efforts in different markets.
  • Work is typically performed in an office environment, either in-person or remotely. Training delivery may require standing for extended periods, with walking or sitting during breaks.
  • Occasional lifting of materials (up to 20 pounds) may be required.

The compensation information below is provided in compliance with all applicable disclosure requirements.

Base Pay Range: $79,000.00 – 118,200.00. Actual base pay will depend on varying circumstances, including the position, location, individual qualifications, market finances, and other operational business needs. Compensation may also include bonuses and equity.
