We are looking for a strategic, analytical, and collaborative individual to join our team as a Director Learning Programs. In this role, you will design and own programs that help users learn using cutting edge Microsoft technologies, upskill to meet the moment with AI, and build their professional identities and relationships within the Microsoft ecosystem.

Responsibilities

In the Director Learning Programs role, you will be responsible for the following: 

  • Design of breadth membership programs to upskill technical and productivity workers across the Microsoft ecosystem and help them grow professionally. 
  • Creation of technical requirements and designs for member-facing experiences covering the full membership lifecycle, including novel learning experiences. 
  • Work with cross-functional partners in marketing, developer relations, and across WWL to create communications and in-person experiences for program members. 
  • Program management and stewardship, including defining success metrics, introducing benefits, community engagement, and managing program costs. 
  • Culture: Be a trusted partner to executives and an active participant in WWL strategy and planning.

Qualifications

Required/minimum qualifications

  • Master’s Degree or equivalent AND 5+ years experience in Learning and Development, relevant technical roles, or program management OR Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent AND/OR 7+ years experience in Learning and Development, relevant technical roles, or program management. 
  • Experience creating frameworks and articulating organization-wide strategies with an outside-in perspective. 
  • Familiarity with the rapidly changing AI landscape for both knowledge workers and developers. 
  • Experience defining product strategy, prioritizing features, and aligning cross-functional teams (engineering, design, research, marketing, etc.). 
  • Communication, storytelling, and stakeholder management experience. 
  • Experience in defining success metrics and measuring impact. 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience defining tech industry upskilling and credentialing programs. 
  • Microsoft Fundamentals, Coaching (e.g., International Coaching Federation), Project and/or Program Management Professional, archival, or a similar certificate. 
  • Demonstrates commitment to career development and continuous or consistent learning through formal and informal efforts (e.g., change management, design thinking, management training, online courses). 

Integrated Learning IC6 – The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $130,900 – $277,200 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $165,600 – $303,600 per year.
