Your Role

The Learning & Organizational Development (L&OD) Program Manager will be responsible for the implementation, management, and continuous improvement of L&OD programming and resources. You will partner with People & Culture leaders to strategize, design, execute, and evaluate programming, resources, and experiences in support of: orientation, leadership development, professional development, team effectiveness, and engagement. You will be responsible for the ongoing management and administrative tasks required to maintain L&OD programs and resources. You will leverage core concepts in adult learning theory and facilitation paired with emerging trends and technologies to create effective learning and development experiences for all team members. You will work on standard to moderately complex projects, focusing on creating impactful and innovative solutions that align with our overall strategy. Your work will directly contribute to the success of our L&OD initiatives, helping build a knowledgeable and skilled workforce that drives our organization’s capabilities. By utilizing data analytics and feedback loops, you will continuously refine and enhance our programming and resources, driving ongoing improvement and effectiveness.

Primary Functions of the L&OD Program Manager Include:

  • Collaborate with the People & Culture team, operational leadership, and subject matter experts to ensure L&OD solutions meet the needs of the organization and deliver measurable objectives.
  • Facilitate highly engaging and interactive learning and development experiences in support of: orientation, leadership development, professional development, team effectiveness, and engagement.
  • Develop and maintain effective resources including: facilitator guides, job aids, PowerPoint decks, activities, videos, etc.
  • Leverage approved technologies and methodologies in conjunction with key facilitation principles to ensure successful outcomes for L&OD interventions.
  • Maintain and update our intranet, L&OD content library, and shared file repository to ensure quality and integrity.
  • Complete L&OD request intake analysis for standard to moderately complex projects.
  • Stay up to date on facilitation best practices and emerging trends and technologies to incorporate into our practice.
  • Support facilitated course assignment, attendance tracking, and reporting within the learning management system (LMS).
  • Record, monitor, and report data aligned to L&OD metrics.
  • Manage daily operations in support of L&OD programming.
  • Perform other related responsibilities as assigned.  

How You Qualify

  • ​​Bachelor’s degree in human resources, industrial psychology, education, instructional design, or adult learning or at least four years of experience in adult learning, employee development, education, or a related field
  • 3+ years of facilitation or training experience; health care setting preferred
  • Technology Skills: proficient in Microsoft Suite: Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, Teams, SharePoint
  • Communication Skills: excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders
  • Project Management Skills: ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality outcomes
  • Adaptability: flexibility to adjust to changing priorities and work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
  • Problem Solving Skills: strong problem-solving skills to address challenges and find effective solutions in instructional design
  • Attention to Detail: meticulous attention to detail to ensure accuracy and consistency in all materials
  • Creativity and Innovation: ability to think outside the box to develop unique and engaging learning solutions
  • Continuous Learning: Commitment to staying current with industry trends and best practices in instructional design and adult learning theory

The base pay range for this role is $76,600.00 – $88,000.00. Compensation takes into account several factors including but not limited to a candidate’s experience, education, skills, licensure and certifications, and organizational needs. Base pay is just one piece of the total rewards program offered by Honest. Eligible roles also qualify for short-term incentives and a comprehensive benefits package.
