Position Summary 

Successful curriculum implementations are built on exceptional planning, high‑quality service delivery, and meaningful educator partnerships. We are looking for a Curriculum Specialist who will play a critical role in advancing EPS Learning’s impact, by serving as a subject matter expert across program training, presales support, and content development. In this role, you will partner closely with Sales, Customer Success, and internal teams to deliver high-quality professional learning, support successful implementations, and strengthen product understanding across the organization. By delivering engaging, effective sales presentations and training experiences to prospective and current partners, the Curriculum Specialist helps drive adoption, improve implementation outcomes, and drive increased sales revenue. 

Responsibilities 

  • Serve as a presenter at national and regional events featuring EPS Learning programs.
  • Deliver customer-facing professional learning sessions and presentations for current and prospective customers.
  • Collaborate with sales management to create and deliver highly effective sales presentations of EPS Learning’s products to potential customers.
  • Support the training and ongoing development of EPS Learning 1099 consultants by providing feedback and instructional support.
  • Provide program and product training to new and continuing members of the internal EPS Learning team to build product knowledge.
  • Support large district implementations with strategic support and planning that will contribute to customer success and program expansion opportunities.
  • Lead the creation, maintenance and delivery of the training curriculum and materials for all relevant programs and processes for both customer and internal participants.
  • Collaborate with the Customer Success team to support successful implementations.
  • Provide coaching to individual educators who are implementing EPS Learning programs.
  • Serve as a conduit from the field to product development and marketing to influence product revisions and messaging.
  • Frequent travel to customer sites is necessary, including overnight travel. 75%-80% travel required. This will involve flights as well as car travel.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in literacy instruction, professional learning, and/or serving as a reading specialist.
  • Demonstrated success facilitating professional development for educators and instructional leaders, both virtually and in person.
  • Strong proficiency with technology‑based productivity tools, including Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage diverse audiences.
  • 2+ years of experience delivering digital curriculum presentations.
  • SPIRE curriculum experience strongly preferred.

Compensation Range: The base pay range for this position is $75,000 – $85,000 per year. The actual base pay and commission offered is determined by several variables, such as the candidate’s qualifications, experience, skills, education, location, and market conditions. Base pay is one component of EPS Learning’s total compensation package, which also includes a generous benefits package, 401k plan, as well as bonus or commission.
