Hiring Range
The University of California, Merced is required to provide a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. This range takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. It is not typical for an individual to be offered a salary at or near the top of the range for a position. Salary offers are determined based on final candidate qualifications and experience. The salary range the University reasonably expects to pay for this position is $87,300 – $109,000.

About the Job
The Digital Accessibility Program Administrator will lead implementation and provide oversight of all aspects of the Information Technology Accessibility Program, supporting our campus community by providing an accessible and inclusive experience for technology and digital services. Reporting to the Technology Experience Architect and Manager of the Design, Outreach, and Experience team, this position is responsible for ensuring accessibility through monitoring of university websites and learning management course sites, working with content owners on remediation of inaccessible content, and reviewing and testing software purchased by the university. The incumbent will oversee the campus’s burgeoning Digital Accessibility program and maintain a digital toolbox of accessibility tools; create training programs and resources to support the campus community in the use of those tools; collaborate with all relevant campus stakeholders, including active participation in the Accessibility Resource Group, compliance and escalation work with Campus Risk Services, website analysis and remediation with the Campus Web team, and build Universal Design for Learning resources and training programs with OIT Instructional Designers.
