Job Responsibilities:

About the Role:

The Digital Learning Specialist will drive the implementation of Magna’s digital learning strategy, leveraging cutting-edge technologies to enhance employee performance and engagement. This role collaborates across Divisions and Groups to design and deliver innovative digital solutions, staying at the forefront of industry trends and AI advancements. By managing vendor relationships and optimizing translation solutions, the Digital Learning Specialist ensures our learning programs are effective, inclusive, and aligned with our organizational goals.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with Group/Divisional Leaders in HR, Talent, and functional Subject Matter Experts to create innovative digital learning solutions (including videos, eLearning, webpages, assessments, and other online tools and resources) to meet the needs of the business and align to the global Learning & Development (L&D) strategy.
  • Coordinate and implement the translation of training content for delivery to global audiences
  • Develop and maintain knowledge resources, templates, and tools to enable Learning Administrators and functional Subject Matter Experts to develop their own digital content aligned to L&D quality standards.
  • Stay current with industry trends and best practices in digital learning, focusing on leveraging AI and emerging technologies to:
    • Optimize and automate L&D processes and practices.
    • Advance and evolve how employees learn (ex. learning in the flow of work).
  • Manage vendor relationships in the field of digital learning and innovate solutions for translations.

Who we are looking for:

  • Experience and proficiency in digital content authoring tools (specifically Articulate 360, Adobe Captivate) and familiarity with AI technologies in learning and development.
  • Experience in the instructional design process (ex. Needs analysis, content design and storyboarding, training evaluation, etc.)
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • A creative and innovative mindset, with a passion for leveraging technology, including AI, to enhance learning experiences.

Your Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Education, Human Resources, or a related field
  • 3-5 years of experience in developing digital learning solutions such as training videos, comprehensive eLearning, SharePoint sites and forms, assessments, and other online tools and resources.
  • Experience with graphic design and web design is an asset.
  • Ability to travel minimally
