About The Position
At KIPP Foundation, we are committed to creating world-class professional learning experiences for both KIPP Foundation and regional leaders. As Director of Formal Learning for Leadership Development, you will play a critical role in executing the KIPP Network’s annual Academic Program Strategy by designing and delivering high-impact professional learning that builds the leadership capacity of KIPP’s Executive Directors, Chief Schools & Academic Officers, and Principal Managers. This role also includes leading the planning and delivery of multi-day in-person and virtual professional development for KIPP Foundation staff. Ultimately, you will be responsible for ensuring participants of your formal learning experiences improve in their proficiency level for prioritized skills and for participants to experience improved outcomes as a result of their application of learning. Reporting directly to the Vice President of Leadership Development, you will collaborate with KIPP Foundation teams and regional partners to codify exemplary leadership practices, develop best-in-class adult learning content, and set a clear, rigorous bar for professional development excellence. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in adult learning, a proven track record of results, and a deep commitment to educational equity and student impact.

Location
It is preferred, but not mandatory for this role to be based out of a KIPP Foundation office. This role also has the option of working from a remote office full-time. KIPP Foundation offices are in NYC and Chicago.
Compensation and Benefits
In compliance with local law, we are disclosing the compensation, or a range thereof, for roles in locations where legally required. Actual salaries will vary based on several factors, including but not limited to external market data, internal equity, and relevant experience. The salary range for this position is $120,000 – $145,000. In addition, KIPP Foundation provides a variety of benefits to employees, including:
