Who we are

We’re Redis. We built the product that runs the fast apps our world runs on. (If you checked the weather, used your credit card, or looked at your flight status online today, you’re welcome.) At Redis, you’ll work with the fastest, simplest technology in the business—whether you’re building it, telling its story, or selling it to our 10,000+ worldwide customers. We’re creating a faster world with simpler experiences. You in?

Why would you love this job?

At Redis, you’ll be at the center of shaping how our people grow, lead, and thrive in a fast-moving, global, pre-IPO environment. As our Director, Learning & Development, you’ll design and drive high-impact learning strategies that build Redis’s leadership bench, strengthen our culture of excellence, and enable our people to do the best work of their careers.

This is a high-visibility role that blends strategy, creativity, and hands-on execution — partnering closely with leaders across GTM, R&D, and G&A to craft scalable learning programs that empower Redis employees worldwide. You’ll report to the CPO and play a key role in evolving Redis into a world-class learning organization.

What you’ll do:

  • Lead the end-to-end design and delivery of high-impact learning programs for Redis managers and individual contributors — from onboarding through leadership development.
  • Partner with senior stakeholders across functions and regions to diagnose learning needs, align on business priorities, and deliver measurable outcomes tied to performance, engagement, and retention.
  • Develop and facilitate engaging learning experiences — live, virtual, or hybrid — that reflect Redis’s values, culture, and growth mindset.
  • Create scalable learning systems that blend self-paced digital learning, live sessions, and coaching to meet the diverse needs of Redis’s global workforce.
  • Use data and analytics to evaluate program effectiveness and continuously improve learning design, delivery, and impact.
  • Drive adoption and visibility of learning programs through strong internal branding and storytelling, ensuring Redis employees see learning as a strategic advantage.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to People Partners and business leaders on leadership, team development, and organizational learning strategies.

What will you need to have?

  • Bachelor’s degree in Learning & Development, Education, HR, or related field; Master’s preferred.
  • 8+ years of progressive experience in L&D, with a focus on leadership or talent development in a fast-paced, high-growth tech environment.
  • Proven experience designing and facilitating impactful learning solutions across geographies and job levels.
  • Strong business acumen and ability to connect learning strategy to business outcomes.
  • Exceptional communication and facilitation skills — confident leading sessions with senior leaders and large groups.
  • Data-driven mindset with experience using metrics and feedback loops to measure learning impact.
  • A genuine passion for helping people grow and succeed — and for building programs that scale globally.

Extra great if you have:

  • You’ve built or scaled L&D programs in a pre-IPO or hyper-growth company.
  • You’re fluent in learning methodologies like ADDIE, SAM, or Kirkpatrick — and know how to balance theory with pragmatic business impact.
  • You thrive in ambiguity, love technology, and bring curiosity and experimentation to everything you do.
  • You’re the kind of person who has a favorite keyboard shortcut
