Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Instructional Designer to build modern, engaging learning experiences for our producer and sales audiences. This is a remote opportunity at an individual contributor level. In this role, you will partner closely with Sales, Product, and Technology teams to design education that equips insurance sales producers for success. from onboarding through post-appointment.

This position is ideal for someone who brings strong technical content design skills, deep knowledge of authoring tools, and a passion for creating high‑impact learning in a fast‑paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

Design & Development

  • Create high‑quality digital learning solutions including interactive modules, scenario‑based learning, microlearning, product walkthroughs, and videos.
  • Build courses using Articulate 360 (Storyline, Rise) and other enterprise‑level authoring tools.
  • Leverage AI‑assisted video creation, AI voice/narration tools, and media automation platforms to improve efficiency and learner engagement.
  • Develop infographics, job aids, facilitator guides, and other performance‑support assets.
  • Translate complex product, sales, and system/tool information into clear, consumable learning experiences.
  • Collaborate with SMEs (Subject Matter Experts), product owners, and sales leaders to ensure accuracy and relevance.
  • Analyze learner needs to determine appropriate modality and instructional strategy.

Project & Stakeholder Management

  • Manage multiple concurrent projects with strong attention to timelines and scope.
  • Facilitate design reviews, SME working sessions, and stakeholder feedback loops.
  • Communicate progress and risks proactively to project partners.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Learning Science, Education Technology, Communications, or related field (or equivalent experience). Preferred
  • 3–5+ years of experience designing digital learning for sales, product, or technical audiences.
  • Demonstrated ability to write clear, concise learning content for a business audience.
  • Experience designing learning for adult learners with measurable performance outcomes.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing interactive eLearning, video, and blended learning solutions.
  • Background in sales enablement, producer education, or product training Preferred

Expertise with:

  • Articulate 360 (Storyline, Rise)
  • AI‑based narration and video creation platforms (e.g., Synthesia, HeyGen, Descript, Vyond, or similar)
  • LMS platforms (administration experience a plus)
  • Multimedia tools such as Camtasia, Adobe Creative Cloud, or equivalent

Education & Experience (in lieu)

  • In lieu of the above education requirements, an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

Compensation

Compensation offered for this role is 60,000.00 – 97,125.00 annually and is based on experience and qualifications.

The candidate(s) offered this position will be required to submit to a background investigation.
