Job Description:
Empire State University is currently seeking two versatile Instructional Designers to provide their expertise in the development and revision of online courses and support the use of technology to enhance learning for SUNY Empire. Individuals in these roles can select a specific job track but need to have the skills of an instructional designer with a strong grasp of technology. These roles will provide on-demand instructional technology and design consultation, guidance, and support to faculty using current research-driven learning design principles, instructional technologies, and best practices. The selected incumbents will provide training and support on a range of concepts, including but not limited to accessibility, assessment, copyright, and open educational resources (OERs) to faculty and students. These roles will also include the development of training materials and resources. The Instructional Designers will collaborate with a team of subject matter experts, instructional technologists, librarians, multimedia designers, and other instructional designers, and follow the established project management processes.

Rank/Salary: Instructional Support Technician, SL3/ $57,500-$60,000, dependent on experience and qualifications.
