Job Summary:

The Instructional Designer III is responsible for organizing and developing learning programs, testing and evaluation procedures incorporating the principles of adult learning and curriculum design.

Essential Functions:

  • Design multimedia deliverables for the member and provider portals in support of organizational strategies
  • Install, test, and document usage of new learning technologies working in partnership with information technology support partners
  • Assists end users with resolving systems errors encountered during course completion
  • Create learning experiences through coursework design that is instructionally sound, creative, visual and engaging
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, quickly shift priorities and deliver excellent learning solutions under aggressive deadlines
  • Perform any other job duties as requested

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of relevant work experience required
  • Minimum of seven (7) years training and development experience working with various levels of organization, to include five (5) years of curriculum development experience, is required
  • Internal consulting experience with multiple levels preferred

Competencies, Knowledge and Skills:

  • Expert knowledge of adult learning principles required
  • Experience designing and developing e-learning, virtual/web-based learning and blended learning solutions
  • Skilled in web-based authoring tools
  • Experience with Learning Management systems desired
  • Expert project planning and management ability
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to lead client meetings, ascertain key information, accept and integrate feedback into work
  • Ability to work in fast-paced, highly regulated environment to meet regulatory requirements
  • Intermediate level skill in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Strong time management skills and detail orientation

Licensure and Certification:

  • Minimum of one learning industry design certification preferred

Working Conditions:

  • General office environment; may be required to sit or stand for extended periods of time
  • Some travel for business

Compensation Range:

$70,800.00 – $113,200.00 CareSource takes into consideration a combination of a candidate’s education, training, and experience as well as the position’s scope and complexity, the discretion and latitude required for the role, and other external and internal data when establishing a salary level. In addition to base compensation, you may qualify for a bonus tied to company and individual performance.
