Summary of Job Description:

The Learning & Development Curriculum Developer designs, develops, and enhances instructional materials that strengthen learning effectiveness across Operations and Support Center programs. This position partners with subject matter experts to create engaging, outcomes-based curriculum and evaluates program impact using data and learner feedback. The position also conducts research, focus groups, and accreditation documentation to ensure all materials meet quality, alignment, and compliance standards.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Partners with trainers and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to develop instructional materials and course designs. Enhances existing courses based on participant feedback and supports the creation of supplemental training materials.
  • Creates, modifies, and enhances job aids, participant guides, pre- and post-work assignments, assessments, and course activities using tools such as Adobe InDesign, Canva, and Articulate Rise.
  • Researches and develops learning outcome–specific curriculum using the ADDIE model to ensure strategic alignment with organizational goals. Evaluates the effectiveness of learning programs for both Operations and Support Center associates using ROI and the Kirkpatrick evaluation framework.
  • Supports and conducts focus groups and stakeholder interviews to gather feedback, identify training needs, and evaluate the effectiveness of learning programs. Analyzes qualitative insights to inform curriculum updates, improve learner engagement, and align future training initiatives with organizational goals.
  • Creates and updates documents for accreditation, such as Learning Design Documents and catalogs, to ensure alignment with GO Class content and compliance.

Qualifications – External

Your background and experience: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, hospitality, or related field.
  • Minimum three years of experience in learning and development and/or Operations, preferably in a retail/hospitality operations environment.
  • Successful completion of initial and periodically required trainings.
  • Obtaining a valid Food Handler’s Card within 30 days of employment is a requirement of this position.

Pay Range: P2: $34.85 – $48.79 / per hour

* Within the range, individual pay is determined using various factors, including work location and experience.
