 About the project

Blue Carrot is assembling an international team of experienced Instructional Designers to help build a Healthcare learning program for a major US-based client (NGO). The project combines e-learning, virtual classroom sessions, and performance support tools — designed to help frontline professionals perform critical, real-world tasks safely and confidently.

This is a rare opportunity to work on a purpose-driven global project where quality, clarity, and precision truly make an impact.

You’ll oversee a team of instructional designers, ensuring quality and consistency across all design packages, while also taking on hands-on design work for selected modules. You will not build or supervise building Storyline courses or videos.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise multiple IDs’ work for accuracy, consistency, and instructional quality.
• Ensure all storyboards and outlines align with the client’s instructional logic and learning flow.
• Coach IDs on style, tone, and accuracy in design documentation.
• Recommend workflow refinements (e.g., template improvements or process tweaks).
• Collaborate with project managers, media teams, and client-side leads to meet quality and delivery standards. Help the project manager monitor performance across the ID team.
• Refine and finalize design outlines provided by the client.
• Contribute directly to alpha-stage Word deliverables, including storyboards, vILT scripts, and assessment designs.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of instructional design experience, including team leadership or review responsibilities.
• Experience with regulated or technical content (e.g. healthcare, pharma, engineering, or manufacturing).
• Expertise in developing detailed Word-based storyboards and design documents.
• Strong written English and attention to instructional and editorial detail.
• Comfortable working in an agile, distributed production environment.

Bonus if you have:

• Familiarity with Articulate Storyline / Rise, and video scripting.
