The Learning & Development Manager is a strategic partner to the Customer Operations leadership team, responsible for designing and delivering impactful learning programs that drive team performance and customer success across AlertMedia’s global Customer Operations team, while also contributing to company-wide onboarding initiatives that build consistency and connection for all new hires.

• Develop and execute a comprehensive learning strategy aligned with Customer Operations goals and business priorities. 
• Continuously assess training needs and adapt programs to evolving team and customer requirements in a high growth SaaS environment. 
• Manage end-to-end onboarding and ongoing training initiatives for employees in the UK, US, and Mexico, ensuring content is relevant, engaging, and accessible. 
• Use data and feedback to measure effectiveness and improve learning outcomes. 
• Embrace and incorporate emerging technologies, including AI tools, to enhance training delivery, content creation, and learner engagement. 
• Stay current on industry trends and recommend innovative solutions that improve learning impact. 
• Partner closely with Customer Operations leadership and cross-functional teams to align learning initiatives with business needs. 
• Effectively communicate plans, progress, and results to all stakeholders. 
• Lead efforts to document and optimize operational processes, ensuring clarity, consistency, and scalability. 
• Collaborate with stakeholders to maintain up-to-date knowledge resources. 
• Contribute to and enhance AlertMedia’s culture, values, and vision for the future. 
• Apply adult learning principles and instructional design best practices to create engaging, results-driven learning experiences. 
• Design scalable onboarding programs that accelerate new hire readiness and performance across customer-facing and internal teams. 
• Develop learning roadmaps that support growth, retention, and operational excellence. 

What you bring to the role:  

• 5+ years experience in Learning & Development, with a strong focus on instructional design and program strategy. 
• Experience supporting customer-facing or operations teams, ideally within a software, SaaS, or technology environment. 
• Background in Customer Operations, with a deep understanding of the skills and workflows that enable performance. 
• Comfortable adopting and championing new technologies, including agentic and generative AI, as part of learning solutions. 
• Strong instructional design, facilitation, and project management skills (such as Canva, Wrike, Articulate). 
• Data-driven approach to measuring and improving training effectiveness. 
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and adaptability skills. 
• Passion for continuous learning and innovation. 
• A demonstrated ability to bring energy, empathy, and enthusiasm to your work. 
• A passion for continual learning with a desire and willingness to be coached. 
• A creative, collaborative spirit and commitment to driving operational excellence through learning. 
• The ability and desire to work in a fast-paced challenging environment. 
• Strong listening skills. 
• Thrives with both autonomy and collaboration. 
• Expertise in applying adult learning theory to drive engagement and behavior change. 
• Experience building onboarding programs that create consistent, high-impact new hire experiences. 
• Strategic mindset with the ability to connect learning initiatives to business outcomes. 
• This is an in-office, hybrid position (2-3 days a week, Monday and Tuesday+) in our downtown Austin, Texas headquarters
