Borough of Manhattan Community College (BMCC) of the City University of New York (CUNY) is seeking a Learning Experience Designer to join the Digital Education team. Digital Education (formerly E-Learning) collaborates with all units in the Office of Academic Affairs as well as across the college to support faculty and students as they prepare for and embark upon digital teaching and learning experiences. Digital Education encourages and facilitates transformative online pedagogies and technologies that enable all BMCC students to succeed.
The Learning Experience Designer will partner with faculty and academic support staff in the design, development, and implementation of digital learning experiences for BMCC students. The position reports to the Director of Digital Education and will collaborate closely with other departments across the college to create and support engaging digital learning environments grounded in current theories of pedagogy and applied across instructional modalities. Compensation And Benefits
Salary range is $91,922 – $99,185, Salary commensurate with education and experience.
CUNY is in the process of implementing salary schedule increases. Once implemented, salaries of eligible employees will be adjusted by 3.25% effective 9/1/2025 and 3.5% effective 9/1/26, in accordance with the terms of the PSC-CUNY collective bargaining agreement.
