About the Role & Team

At Disney Vacation Club, we believe learning is key to creating magical experiences for our Members and Guests. Our Learning & Development team designs and delivers innovative learning solutions that support business goals and inspire Cast excellence.

As part of this dynamic team, the Learning Manager plays a vital role in delivering high-impact training programs that support onboarding, systems knowledge, and ongoing development. This role facilitates learning experiences across multiple formats—virtual, in-person, and self-paced—and works closely with partners to ensure our Cast Members are set up for success from day one.

You will report to the Manager, Learning & Development.

This is a Full-Time role.

What You Will Do

Facilitation & Delivery

  • Facilitate engaging learning programs for Cast Members at all levels, with a focus on onboarding frontline roles
  • Deliver a variety of learning experiences including scripted and/or inspirational content through long and short format classes
  • Deliver training in various formats, including instructor-led (ILT), virtual instructor-led (VILT), hybrid, and asynchronous learning
  • Manage classroom by holding Cast accountable to expectations and providing feedback  
  • Set up and break down room and respond to building/technology concerns, as needed

Program & Project Management

  • Lead projects independently and/or in collaboration with peers and partners related to onboarding, ongoing training, and content updates
  • Conduct training administration functions such as summarizing rosters, post-session follow up emails, reports, and general communication
  • Maintain and update internal onboarding resources such as Smartsheet checklists, class materials, and other training assets

Stakeholder Engagement & Support

  • Partner with peers and business stakeholders to ensure training aligns with operational goals and learning objectives
  • Follow all training processes and protocols established by leadership consistently and effectively across all delivery formats
  • Establish and develop relationships with peers, clients, stakeholders, and key partners

Team Development

  • Mentor, train, and develop less experienced Learning Managers 
  • Contribute to a collaborative, high-performing team culture

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • 1+ years of leadership experience, or experience leading people in a coordinator or lead capacity
  • 3+ years of facilitation experience for audiences of various sizes, whether in-person or through virtual platforms for various formats: Long-format programs (spanning several weeks) and Short-format programs (single day or multi-part series)
  • Proven ability to tailor facilitation style to meet different audiences and a variety of learning experiences
  • Strong project management, organizational, and communication skills, with proven experience managing multiple priorities
  • Ability to collaborate with partners, peers, and clients to apply expertise and propose innovative solutions 
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft 365 tools 
  • Demonstrated system proficiency and ability to quickly learn and apply technology tools
  • Initiative to take action to resolve issues, accomplish tasks, and improve efficiency 
  • Experience maintaining confidential information 
  • Ability and flexibility to work at home or on property as needed, as well as across time zones and onsite locations
  • Have the ability to travel domestically

Preferred Qualifications

  • 3+ years of facilitation experience with Disney
  • 3+ years of leadership experience with Disney
  • Prior experience in adult training, learning, and development 
  • Previous experience in quota-based Sales and/or Call Center environments
  • Professional certification or affiliation related to improving human performance 
  • Experience using Instructional Design theories and/or applications to enhance learning experiences
  • Experience with systems: AMI/Disney Vacation Club Booking Suite, Guest Service Suite, a la carte, Salesforce (MeRLIN), Horizon, Ownership Management System, Seaware Touch, Avaya, ConnectSmart
  • Proven knowledge of the DVC and Disney products 
  • Knowledge of the Counselor Salesperson (CSP) process 
  • Florida Real-estate License

Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience 
  • Master’s Degree preferred
