Job Description

As a  Learning Strategy Enablement Senior Specialist within our Enterprise Learning Team (ELO), you will be responsible for supporting a team of learning professionals in the successful creation of Best Buy learning programs and solutions across multiple formats. You will focus on the development of learning experiences that factor in the needs of employees, customers, and the business. This role will support the enablement of learning strategy across different audiences, projects, and programs with agility at its core.

This role is hybrid, which means you will work some days at our corporate office in Richfield, Minnesota, and some days virtually from home or another non-Best Buy location. The specific work arrangements vary by role and team. The recruiter or hiring manager will provide more details during the hiring process.

What you’ll do

  • Work cross-functionally to enable an exceptional development culture at Best Buy
  • Manage multiple projects to enable Enterprise Learning strategies across the enterprise
  • Support the creation of learning content across different modalities (e.g. outlines, slides, activities, live sessions, videos)
  • Engage with business partners and communicate with stakeholders across various audiences
  • Strategically support learning team members in measuring impact and engagement, building strong relationships, and helping solve identified business problems
  • Support new learning strategies and help improve internal business processes
  • Guide decisions by leveraging available data, measurement tools, and insights

Basic qualifications

  • 2 years of experience in learning and development or in a related field
  • 2 years of operations and/or project management experience
  • Strong communicator and ability to collaborate and form quality partnerships cross-functionally
  • Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Suite and emerging digital tools
  • Quick learner, ability to multi-task and achieve fast-moving deadlines

Preferred qualifications

  • 2 years of HR related experience and/or Omnichannel related experience
  • Experience within multiple parts of an organization and an advanced understanding of collaborating across teams
  • 2 years of experience creating content, facilitating within groups, and/or teaching topics to others
