Information Services Division (ISD) is the primary provider of IT services to UCL. We support and enhance learning, teaching, research and administrative processes by providing information- and technology-related services to over 50,000 staff and students of UCL and associated institutions.

The Digital Education Support team within Digital Education is seeking a full-time enthusiastic individual to join us in the role of a Learning Technologist.
The post holder will hold a range of responsibilities such as providing second line support to our users via our digital education service desk, focusing on assessment support/guidance and will also provide advice and training for staff and students in their use of UCL’s range of Digital Assessment platforms.
They will work in partnership with the Senior Learning Technologist (Assessment), Digital Education Support Analysts and wider Digital Education team members to promote, support and develop our provision. The post holder will also work closely with the Digital Learning Environment product team to keep on top of enhancements to assessment work and contribute to some project work to enhance existing services and identify and develop new services.

The successful candidate will have experience of digital assessment platforms as well as providing e-learning support within an IT service delivery environment. A good appreciation of pedagogical and social aspects of learning technologies and of their adoption and application is essential.
You should also be highly proactive and enthusiastic with excellent interpersonal skills and a strong sense of teamwork, and have an understanding of how web-based, multimedia and mobile technologies can be used to enhance learning, teaching and assessment.
