Summary
Responsible for the administration and optimization of the learning management systems (LMS) to maximize organizational and employee productivity, learning, performance and engagement. Cultivates and maintains collaborative professional relationships with internal or external Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and leverages knowledge of technology and adult learning theory to design educational content and ensure a seamless user experience. Upholds the mission, vision, values, and customer services standards of The MetroHealth System.
Qualifications
Required: Bachelor’s Degree in Instructional Design, Adult Learning or related field or any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience in addition to the experience stated below. Minimum five years related experience. Knowledge of adult learning theory and course development. Experience in Learning Management System administration and online Content Authoring Tools, Demonstrated competence as a proactive and responsive team player. Excellent written, verbal, interpersonal and presentation skills. Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with a high attention to detail and follow through. Able to meet tight deadlines. Preferred: Master’s Degree in Instructional Design, Education, Adult Learning or Human Resources related field strongly preferred Experience in a health care setting. Professional in Human Resources (PHR, SPHR) or certification eligibility per HRCI Standards. Physical Demands: May need to move around intermittently during the day, including sitting, standing, stooping, bending, and ambulating. May need to remain still for extended periods, including sitting and standing. Ability to communicate in face-to-face, phone, email, and other communications. Ability to read job related documents. Ability to use computer.
