This position is remote but must candidates must be willing to live in the Dallas, TX market.

Position Summary: 

We are seeking a detail-oriented and tech-savvy Learning Management System (LMS) Administrator to manage, maintain, and optimize our LMS platform. This role is critical in supporting our learning and development initiatives by ensuring a seamless user experience, accurate data reporting, and efficient course deployment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in LMS administration, instructional technology, and data analysis.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • LMS Management:
    • Manage system configurations, user roles/permissions, and overall platform functionality.
    • Provide technical support to learners, instructors, and administrators; resolve access issues and answer LMS-related inquiries.
    • Support and participate in LMS implementation activities, including data migration, user provisioning, testing, stakeholder training, and post-launch support.
    • Develop and enforce LMS usage policies, naming conventions, and content standards.
    • Partner with Compliance to assign, monitor, and track annual compliance training for completion and ensure compliance requirements are met.
    • Administer course evaluation surveys and communicate feedback to training management.
  • Content Deployment:
    • Upload, test, and troubleshoot eLearning modules (SCORM, xAPI, AICC), videos, and other training materials.
    • Maintain, update, and socialize the LMS content catalog.
    • Collaborate with vendors and internal stakeholders to add content and remove retired modules.
  • Reporting & Analytics:
    • Generate and analyze reports on course completion, learner progress, and system usage.
    • Develop dashboards and visualizations to communicate learning trends and performance metrics.
    • Use data insights to recommend improvements to training programs and learner engagement strategies.
    • Monitor KPIs such as course effectiveness, learner satisfaction, and compliance rates.
  • System Optimization and Innovation:
    • Collaborate with stakeholders to continuously improve the learning platform’s functionality and user experience.
    • Coordinate with IT and vendors to implement system updates, integrations, and enhancements.
    • Collaborate with IT and HRIS to support the implementation of the new LMS platform, including testing, launch coordination, and change management efforts.
    • Document and streamline processes to ensure a smooth transition during LMS migration.
    • Research and recommend new LMS features, tools, or third-party integrations to enhance learning delivery.
    • Participate in strategic planning for digital learning initiatives.
    • Stay current with eLearning trends, technologies, and best practices.
  • Training & Documentation:
    • Develop user guides, FAQs, and training sessions for LMS users and stakeholders.
    • Maintain documentation of system processes and standard operating procedures.
    • Support training and onboarding for internal stakeholders as part of the LMS rollout.
  • Compliance & Security:
    • Ensure data integrity, privacy, and compliance with organizational and regulatory standards.
  • Perform other responsibilities and duties, as assigned.

Experience & Education 

The ideal candidate should possess the following:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Technology, Education, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience administering a Learning Management Systems (LMS).
  • Experience supporting or leading implementation of a learning management system (e.g., Docebo, Workday Learning, Cornerstone, etc.) is strongly preferred.
  • Experience with integrations between LMS and HRIS platforms is a plus.
  • Understanding of e-learning standards (SCORM, xAPI, AICC).
  • Proficient with data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI, Tableau).
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Excellent attention to details and organizational skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.

Skills & Abilities Required

  • Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Demonstrated analytical skills in troubleshooting and identifying root causes as well as corrective and preventative actions.
  • Ability to analyze data and generate insights
  • Experience with or exposure to implementing LMS platforms, including configuration, testing, content migration, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts in a clear and concise manner.
  • Ability to maintain confidential customer, team member and organizational information in a responsible and secure manner.
  • Open to receiving feedback.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Ability to work independently, as well as follow direction/instruction, as warranted.
  • Ability to work well in a team and adapt to a dynamic work environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain flexibility in a changing environment.
  • Must be able to travel 5%.

Compensation Range

Annual Salary: $65,998.00 – $95,698.00

Location:  Dallas, TX or Remote U.S. excluding the following states:  AK, DE, ID, ND, RI, VT, WY
