The Manager of Curriculum Software and Support is responsible for the oversight, coordination, and support of curriculum-related academic technologies across the health sciences schools. This role is key in maintaining and enhancing the systems that support curriculum delivery, assessment, admissions, and instructional content. Primary platforms include Elentra, Slate, Panopto, ExamSoft and Canvas, which serve the varied needs of health professions education across the six schools of the Health Sciences.
The manager collaborates closely with faculty, education coordinators, academic leadership, and technical teams to ensure systems are optimized, well-supported, and aligned with program goals, compliance requirements, and educational best practices.
The manager supervises a team of two or more staff and leads technology projects to support teaching, learning, and academic operations. Strong project management skills and exceptional communication abilities are a must for success in this role.
Job Summary

- Oversees and provides highly complex technical design, implementation, maintenance, system administration, and support.
- Monitors and analyzes performance metrics, coordinates project schedules, and prepares long- and short-range plans.
Essential Functions
- Supervise a staff team providing user support and operational services.
- Lead cross-functional projects related to academic technology implementation and process improvement.
- Collaborate with faculty and administrators to align systems with curriculum, assessment, clinical education, and admissions workflows.
- Oversee configuration, maintenance, and support of Elentra, Canvas, Slate, ExamSoft, Panopto, and CORE platforms.
- Provide training, documentation, and ongoing support to end users.
- Coordinate with IT and vendor partners to resolve issues, manage upgrades, and support integrations.
Physical Effort
Light, Little physical effort. Duties are primarily Sedentary. May be required to move objects up to 25 pounds occasionally.
