Job Title: Manager, Digital Education

What You Will Learn:

Mission: To amplify L’Oréal’s digital education reach by developing and executing engaging client-facing content, supporting production workflows, and facilitating communication to ensure an immersive and accessible learning experience for all customers.

Role Objective: Drive and help deliver Matrix growth objectives in terms of annual net sales and strengthening of Matrix brand positioning through Education. Drive awareness and success of Matrix Education to build our community, our brand, and our business. Help make Matrix a leader in digital education and mentorship. Increase collaboration across Education, Marketing, and Sales.

Digital Education Content Creation & Management (min 65%)

  • Collaborate with the Senior Digital Education Manager and education team to develop creative briefs for new digital education content initiatives, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and brand guidelines.
  • Work closely with artists and internal/external production teams to coordinate the creation, filming, and editing of high-quality digital education content (e.g., videos, tutorials, e-learnings, social media assets).
  • Manage the end-to-end production workflow for digital education assets, from conceptualization to final delivery and platform integration.
  • Ensure all digital content is optimized for various platforms (e.g., YouTube, brand websites, social media) and tailored to specific audience needs.
  • Maintain an organized library of digital education assets, ensuring easy accessibility and version control.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of virtual certifications and digital learning tracks.

Access

  • Update & support ACCESS, including communicating updates on platform enrollments, learning paths for all distribution (schools, new hire, stylists-salons and sales), and reporting.

Digital Education Support & Communication (min 25%)

  • Provide comprehensive support to the Senior Digital Education Manager and the broader education team in all aspects of digital education initiatives.
  • Facilitate clear and timely communication between the education team, artists, marketing, DMI, and other relevant stakeholders.
  • Assist in managing content schedules, deadlines, and resource allocation for digital education projects.
  • Gather feedback from users and stakeholders to inform content improvements and optimizations.
  • Support the coordination of digital education events, including Zooms and Digital Screen Education events.
  • Partner with Assistant Manager Education – DMI on content calendar and posting cadence.

Data & Performance Tracking (min 10%)

  • Assist in tracking and analyzing performance metrics for digital education content (e.g., views, engagement, completion rates).
  • Contribute to regular reports on digital education content performance, providing basic insights and recommendations.
  • Monitor industry trends and best practices in digital education and content marketing, providing recommendations for innovation.

What We Are Looking For:

Required Qualifications:

  • BA/BS degree required
  • Experience in creative direction for video and still production
  • Strong computer skills, proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, & Adobe Platforms
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Previous experience with social media analytics, SEO, and strategy (strong preference for in-depth YouTube knowledge)

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Proficiency in e-learning platforms, content development tools, and video editing software (ie. Docebo, Frame.io, Adobe Premiere)
  • Video design and editing experience.

Additional Benefits Information 

Salary Range: $98,400 – $140,200 (The actual compensation will depend on a variety of job-related factors which may include geographic location, work experience, education, and skill level)
