Shift: Days 

Pay: $47.57 – $76.11 / hour. Pay is dependent on applicant’s relevant experience 

This position is an onsite role and does not offer a hybrid or remote option.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree. Preferred: Master’s degree.
  •  5 years of experience in OD, HR, or a related field.

We’re seeking a dynamic and innovative Manager of Learning Experience to lead our instructional design team and elevate learning experiences across our academic medical system. This role is crucial for driving the development of cutting-edge instructional programs that align with our strategic goals and commitment to excellence, all while meticulously maintaining regulatory compliance. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and Innovate Learning Solutions: Guide and mentor a team of instructional designers in the creation of highly engaging and effective learning modules. This includes traditional e-learning, video, and microlearning, while also actively exploring and integrating innovative modalities such as virtual reality (VR), augmented reality (AR), gamification, and adaptive learning technologies to enhance instructional outcomes.
  • Strategic Program Design and Development: Collaborate closely with subject matter experts (SMEs), Learning Governance Council, and key stakeholders to design and develop robust, interactive training programs. Ensure all programs adhere to the latest instructional design best practices, meet stringent accessibility standards, and directly support the organization’s overarching learning and strategic objectives, including all relevant regulatory requirements.
  • Drive Learning Advancement: Continuously monitor industry trends, research emerging technologies, and propose new approaches to instructional design and delivery to significantly enhance learning experiences and outcomes within the academic medical system, always considering their implications for regulatory compliance.
  • Team Leadership and Development: Oversee all aspects of staff relations, including performance management, fostering staff satisfaction, and effective conflict resolution.
  • Resource Management: Determine and justify the need for system, equipment, and supply purchases, and monitor their usage.
  • Special Projects and Analytics: Provide support for special projects and business analysis as requested, contributing to data-driven decision-making for learning initiatives and compliance reporting.
