Job Summary:
Equipment Training Solutions (ETS) Operator Training Curriculum Developers are responsible for developing operator training materials for Building Construction Products, Construction Industries, and Resource Industries product lines as well as other specialty applications. These materials are used by Caterpillar Demonstrator/Instructors (DIs) and Certified Dealer Instructors (CDIs) globally to train customer operators to improve safety, operation, and application efficiency.
What You Will Do:
ETS Curriculum Developers are responsible for developing operator training materials to support delivery of customer training efforts worldwide. The incumbent works with other curriculum developers in the creation/modification of training materials by writing curriculum, creating graphics, shooting still images and video, developing 2D and 3D animations, and incorporating these elements into finished training programs that meet or exceed OSHA and MSHA regulations for all prime product families, as well as specialty industry segments such as waste, coal stockpile and material handling/scrap.
The incumbent works closely with product groups and Demonstration & Learning Center DIs to gather information needed to complete training packages. This position also works with Standards and Regulations, Legal and Brand to ensure all materials comply with corporate guidelines. This position is also responsible for responding to quick turnaround requests from instructors internally and externally for assistance with training/resource materials for new machines not currently included in the ETS training library. Developers identify opportunities to outsource curriculum development work for less technical tasks and manages suppliers hired to complete this work.

Summary Pay Range:
$95,640.00 – $143,520.00
Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
