This role is ideal for someone who has experience with diagnosing learning needs, creating scalable programs, and partnering with leaders to embed a culture of continuous improvement. Experience with facilitation frameworks such as DDI and behavioral tools like DiSC is preferred, as you’ll be guiding individuals and teams through high-impact learning experiences.

This role is hybrid, allowing for remote work but requiring onsite collaboration at our downtown Chattanooga campus.

Job Responsibilities

  • Developing course curricula, supporting materials and programs for learning initiatives.
  • Assisting in evaluating employees’ learning performance and related improvements.
  • Assisting in determining learning needs and objectives for an organization’s various employees.
  • Ensuring the delivery of learning courses and programs through suitable methodologies, such as individual coaching and classroom training.

Job Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience required. Equivalent experience is defined as 4 years of professional work experience in a corporate environment

Experience

  • 4 years – Training and development experience in a corporate environment required
  • 1 year – Experience with employee / leadership development program design and delivery required.

Skills\Certifications

  • Incumbent must be willing to acquire appropriate certifications (PI, Myers Briggs, etc.) within 1 year of obtaining position.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision or function in a team environment sharing responsibility, roles and accountability.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel and Powerpoint)
  • Must be a team player, be organized and have the ability to handle multiple projects
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Ability to work with all levels of staff and management
  • Classroom facilitation skills
  • Knowledge of learning needs assessments and analysis, training design, learning strategies and learning management technologies
