Expected salary range of $159,300 to $177,000, varies based on experience, along with comprehensive benefits package that includes bonus and 401(k).

Primary Purpose Of Position

Accountability for the creation, deployment and maintenance of Constellation’s learning and development strategy, enabling an enterprise-wide learning culture.  Leads workstreams that support L&D metrics and data analytics, L&D operations, and integration of L&D initiatives into Constellation’s People Strategy.  Manages L&D team with a focus on performance and achieving results.

Primary Duties & Accountabilities

  • As needed, identify priorities and suggest solutions for building bench strength. In conjunction with other HR professionals, coordinate/implement appropriate processes and initiatives to support this goal, which may include leadership development, retention assessments/programs.
  • Lead cross-functional or HR –based project teams to support the development of enterprise-wide management and leadership development processes and programs. 
  • Program Manage all L&D projects; prioritize work, make determinations on resourcing, ensure on time/within budget, mitigate obstacles and proactively identify connections to other Talent projects and initiatives
  • Lead change management and communication efforts connected to L&D initiatives, proactively engage stakeholders 
  • Engage in proactive benchmarking and industry out-reach to attain knowledge of best-in-class strategies and tactics, evaluate applicability for Constellation
  • Leverage metrics to understand learning needs, inform the learning and development strategy and to demonstrate impact of learning and development initiatives
  • Responsible for L&D spend, establish and monitor annual budget
  • Serve as Representative for Constellation L&D; participate in meaningful networking with peers and stakeholders, attend programs and actively identify opportunities to share L&D vision/strategy

Please Note: This position will require 20-25% travel

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in HR, business or related field
  • Extensive knowledge and experience with learning & development processes, resources and tools
  • 10 or more years HR experience, with at least 6-8 years in OD/L&D
  • Strong analytic and assessment skills
  •  Ability to be strategic and hands-on
  • Results focused and a strong sense of customer service
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and influencing skills
  • Strong analytical and assessment skills
  • Strong project management and project leadership skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s Degree in related field – OD, HRD or Instructional Design
  • Certification in executive coaching
  • Specialized skills may include data analytics, organization design and development, instructional design, process redesign and change management
