MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Senior Training Developer to join our team in Doral, FL.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Leads the design, development, and implementation of training videos and materials for a military audience, working closely with System/Software Engineers and subject matter experts.
  • Operates within an agile-informed Software Development Lifecycle Framework, guiding and mentoring junior team members.
  • Consults with instructors and subject matter experts to determine instructional requirements, collect data, and customize design proposals.
  • Uses a wide range of educational technologies to support synchronous, asynchronous, and self-service teaching and learning.
  • Conducts needs assessments, analyzes training effectiveness, and recommends improvements to training programs.
  • Stays abreast of emerging technologies and training trends, incorporating innovative approaches into training development

 

Minimum Qualifications:

  • BA/BS in field necessary to assume Training Developer duties or 4 years of additional experience in lieu of a degree
  • 9+ years of experience with 5+ years relevant Training Developer experience.
  • Extensive experience in instructional design principles and methodologies (ADDIE, SAM, etc.).
  • Proven ability to design and develop engaging and effective training materials for a variety of delivery methods (e.g., videos, e-learning modules, instructor-led training).
  • Experience with a range of educational technologies and multimedia development tools (e.g., Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, Camtasia).
  • Ability to use Learning Management Systems (LMS) and other training platforms.
  • Familiarity with video editing and production software.
  • Knowledge of military training standards and requirements.

 

Desired Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in STEM, Education, or Training related field.
  • Military operational experience.
  • Experience with instructional design technology (e.g., audiovisual).
  • Advanced skills in video production and editing software.
  • Certified Professional in Learning and Performance (CPLP). Association for Talent Development (ATD) certifications.
  • Experience at a DoD Combatant Command (e.g., SOUTHCOM, NORTHCOM, CENTCOM, CYBERCOM, INDOPACOM, EUCOM, AFRICOM, STRATCOM, TRANSCOM, SOCOM, SPACECOM) or a component is desired.

 

Clearance Requirements:

  • Must have a current/active Secret clearance.

 

Physical Requirements:

  • The person in this position must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time. Occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, or to communicate with co-workers, management, and customers, via email, phone, and or virtual communication, which may involve delivering presentations.
