Job Description:

The Senior Training Specialist (Facility Operations) will lead and shape the long-term vision and strategic direction, planning, and training of digital tool utilization in the factories. This role is pivotal in driving skills growth with our Training members and Frontline Leaders in the factory environment. The Senior Training Specialist will also work closely with both the Factory Training and HR teams to develop and implement strategies that enhance factory performance and develop our Frontline Leaders. This position is a remote-based opportunity and will require travel up to 50% to Nestle Health Science USA’s factories. 

Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership

  • Determine and spearhead the execution of digital training tools. 
  • Plan and execute Factory roll out plan and provide training and project support. 
  • Provide strategic guidance on proper digital tool use throughout NHS network.

Process Ownership

  • Lead the creation of POKA implementation throughout the NHS network.
  • Maintain execution strategies and progress data for each Factory.
  • Create and sustain internal Digital SMEs to support others in the digital transformation.
  • Strong voice on the POKA Governance team, representing factory needs to promote faster implementation of training.

L&D and Factory Support

  • Continue to build strength in our Frontline Leaders.
  • Maintain high knowledge of software platforms utilized in the factory to provide support. Veeva, Indeavor, Cority, Grow, NHS LMS.
  • Lead, guide, and mentor the Training teams and Leadership Development throughout our Factories. 
  • Promote continuous improvement initiatives to elevate efficiency and effectiveness across all areas of responsibility.
  • Cultivate a high-performance culture and ensure alignment with the company’s strategic business objectives.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the team. 
  • Encourage the adoption of best practices and the exploration of new approaches to achieve business objectives.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Content Creation, Photography, Learning & Development or in a related field required. 
  • 4+ years of relevant work experience in Content Creation using digital platforms, video capturing and editing required, preferably working within a Manufacturing environment.    
  • Must have excellent communication (oral and written), presentation, organizational and stakeholder management skills (including the ability to develop and maintain strong, cross-functional stakeholder relationships). 
  • Willing and able to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines with minimal supervision. 
  • Must have experience engaging with remote teams and working in a global/cross-functional environment. 
  • Comprehensive knowledge of AI, POKA, Indeavor, Adobe Captive, Clip Champ and Captiva is highly preferred.
  • Advanced digital systems knowledge and business analytics experience preferred. 
  • Willing and able to travel up to 50% based on the needs of the team and the business required. 

The approximate pay range for this position is $85,000 to $105,000. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills and abilities, as well as geographic location.
