We are looking for a Senior Instructional Designer to join our Sales Enablement team, where you’ll collaborate with subject matter experts, trainers, and cross-functional partners across Sales, Product, and Operations. This is an opportunity to lead the design of impactful learning solutions that drive sales performance and customer success, while contributing to transformational projects that elevate Omnicell’s training standards and innovation.

What You’ll Do:

As a Senior Instructional Designer, you will:

  • Primary Impact: Enable sales growth and customer satisfaction by designing learning solutions that improve product knowledge, operational efficiency, and performance.
  • Lead cross-functional design projects – Collaborate with SMEs, trainers, and stakeholders to create training programs that support business goals and drive learner engagement.
  • Develop and manage training content – Apply the ADDIE model and industry best practices to produce e-learning, instructor-led training, job aids, and support materials.
  • Evaluate and optimize learning outcomes – Conduct needs analyses, assess training effectiveness, and implement improvements to enhance learner impact.
  • Mentor and coach peers – Provide guidance and expertise to other instructional designers and learning professionals, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

Who You Are

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in instructional design, education, multimedia, or other instructional fields of study
  • 6+ years of curriculum and training program design experience 
  • Experience in instructional design and adult learning theories and best practices; application of the ADDIE or SAM course development model to create learning solutions for customers and/ or employees
  • Experience with training facilitation best practices; training program development tools such as Storyline, Articulate, etc.
  • Experience designing and implementing training content for sales applications, such as new employee orientation, soft skills, sales methodology, etc…

Preferred Qualifications

Purpose: Highlight skills or experiences that would be beneficial but are not mandatory.

  • Master’s degree in a related field
  • Experience with tools like Photoshop, FrameMaker, InDesign, Illustrator, Audition, Captivate, and Camtasia
  • Background in corporate sales enablement or healthcare/medical device industries
  • Experience integrating AI tools into learning content design
  • Proven success designing training for both technical and soft skills content
