Major Tasks, Responsibilities, and Key Accountabilities
- Owns end-to-end learning operations and administration across learning platforms and tools, including AI-enabled capabilities, ensuring a scalable, user-friendly learner experience.
- Administers Workday Learning and related learning technologies, providing configuration support, user troubleshooting, and continuous improvement.
- Publishes, maintains, and retires digital learning content (eLearning, video, documents, blended learning), ensuring accurate metadata, version control, and tracking.
- Tests and supports eLearning packages (e.g., SCORM) to ensure accurate completions, prerequisites, assignments, and reporting.
- Partners with instructional designers and content owners to support publishing workflows; familiarity with Articulate Storyline and Rise is a plus.
- Builds and manages learning assignments and targeted campaigns to drive awareness, enrollment, and completion.
- Coordinates virtual and in-person learning logistics as needed, including scheduling, calendars, facilitators, rosters, and learner communications.
- Establishes intake processes, templates, and governance that enable business units to maintain onboarding and learning content while preserving quality and consistency.
- Partners with the business to operationalize AI-enabled learning capabilities such as personalized onboarding journeys, recommendations, and learning in the flow of work.
- Manages learning calendars, meetings, and action tracking to keep initiatives on schedule.
- Monitors and manages the Learning support inbox, providing timely, customer-focused support and resolving access, enrollment, completion, and content issues for club and corporate teams.
- Creates and maintains SOPs, job aids, and knowledge-base documentation to support consistent operations and self-service.
- Partners with HRIS/People Analytics to produce learning reports and dashboards supporting adoption, compliance, and effectiveness.
- Supports integrations and system enhancements by partnering with HRIS, IT, and vendors; performs release and regression testing in preview environments.
- Maintains SharePoint learning repositories, ensuring clear organization, permissions, version control, and up-to-date content.
- Maintains training records and documentation to support audits, compliance, and stakeholder requests.
- Manages day-to-day learning projects, including timelines, task tracking, and stakeholder coordination.
- Manages external learning vendors and supports related procurement and invoicing processes.
- Applies quality, accessibility, and data standards across learning operations and identifies opportunities to streamline processes through automation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- 5+ years of experience in Learning & Development, learning operations, training administration, instructional design, HRIS support, or related field.
- 3+ years of hands-on LMS administration experience; Workday Learning preferred.
- Experience supporting or implementing AI-enabled learning solutions within an LMS/LXP environment preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to partner directly with business teams to operationalize onboarding and learning solutions.
- Experience coordinating training logistics, calendars, communications, and learner support.
- Experience managing SharePoint or similar learning repositories with strong governance and organization standards.
- Strong reporting and analytics experience, including partnership with HRIS or People Analytics.
- Experience managing a learning support inbox or ticket queue for distributed audiences.
- Experience supporting integrations, system updates, and UAT/regression testing.
- Experience managing vendors and supporting procurement processes a plus.
- Strong understanding of adult learning principles; instructional design experience strongly preferred.
- Familiarity with SCORM and digital learning publishing workflows; Articulate Storyline and Rise a plus.
- Proficient in Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and skilled at managing multiple priorities.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with a solution-oriented mindset.
This is a hybrid role. Tuesday through Thursday are in-office days at BJ’s Club Support Center in Marlborough, MA and Monday and Friday are remote days.
In accordance with the Pay Transparency requirements, the following represents a good faith estimate of the compensation range for this position. At BJ’s Wholesale Club, we carefully consider a wide range of non-discriminatory factors when determining salary. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, education, experience, and qualifications. The pay range for this position is $76,000.00 – $98,500.00
