Job Summary
Please note: This is one year contract appointment that offers full benefits (medical, dental, vision and retirement savings). This role is also fully-remote.
The Program and Education Coordinator will serve as a key administrative coordinator for the curricular, programmatic, outreach, research, and educational initiatives of the Project Director and Principal Investigator. As an experienced professional, they will coordinate and manage a range of administrative tasks, including scheduling, meeting coordination, project coordination, completion of project-specific tasks, grant and manuscript preparation, program planning, development, administration, and communication with external partners with a high level of professionalism and collaboration. They will provide critical support for the development and maintenance of curriculum materials and assist with administrative processes in the learning management system. The Coordinator will also assist in tracking project deliverables and timelines, support cross-functional collaboration, and ensure smooth communication across stakeholders. With a strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently, they will demonstrate sound judgment in navigating administrative priorities and contribute to the successful execution of program goals.
Applies professional concepts to conduct analytical studies or projects of moderate scope and complexity to address a variety of policy, research and procedural issues. Fully analyzes issues and problems, gathers data and information, finds and evaluates alternatives and makes sound recommendations.
The final salary and offer components are subject to additional approvals based on UC policy.
Your placement within the salary range is dependent on a number of factors including your work experience and internal equity within this position classification at UCSF. For positions that are represented by a labor union, placement within the salary range will be guided by the rules in the collective bargaining agreement.
The salary range for this position is $62,500 – $93,800 (Annual Rate).

The Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology, & Reproductive Sciences (ObGyn & RS) is a major academic department in the School of Medicine committed to providing quality health care services, educating health care providers and investigators, and conducting research to advance knowledge in our field. The Department is nationally recognized for research and training in women’s health care specialties. This position is based at the Department’s San Francisco General Hospital (SFGH) Division, a large teaching, research, and clinical site. The SFGH Division of Ob-Gyn & RS is home to ~40 faculty, 8 non-faculty academics, and 110 staff; fellows, residents, and other trainees; and the Bixby Center for Global Reproductive Health. The SFGH division has an annual budget of over $70M. Our mission in the SFGH Division of Ob-Gyn & RS is to promote justice, quality, and equity in women’s health care. Innovating Education is a program of the Bixby Center for Global Reproductive Health, a multidisciplinary academic center focused on the most pressing needs for adolescent sexual health, family planning, maternal health, and sexually transmitted infections. The Bixby Center is the key research entity of the ZSFG Division of the Department of OB/GYN & RS at UCSF.
