Internship Program Perks

Position Summary
This intern will perform various activities to support Banner’s learning management system, such as object and report creation, completion tracking, and various other tasks. In addition, this intern will have opportunities to consult with subject matter experts as they work together to refine and revise training resources. This activity requires communication and project management skills. Some activities will be data entry-focused, so attention to detail is key. Banner also hosts multiple in-person training events, and this intern will assist with various hosting responsibilities. This internship is available starting May 2025 at our Corporate headquarters in Plymouth, Minnesota.
What You’ll Be Doing
- You will perform various functions in Banner’s learning management system including supporting content creation, assignments, completion tracking, reporting, and more
- You will work with hiring managers and SMEs to refine and revise training resources
- You will participate in various set-up, preparation, and hosting responsibilities for in-person training sessions
- Other duties as assigned

Required
- Pursuing a degree with an interest in training or enterprise learning systems
- A desire to learn about and support training and development actions
- An aptitude for computer systems – the person must be “tech-savvy” as many of their responsibilities will be in our Learning Management System (LMS). It is complex, and we need someone who can not only follow documented steps but think ahead
- Detail oriented and able to follow directions with many complex steps
- Ability and desire to connect and communicate with others in person, in writing, and through virtual platforms
- Experience with Office 365 applications including Outlook, Excel, Word, etc.
Preferred
- Experience with content creation
- Experience working with an LMS

Pay
undergraduate: $18 – $21/hour
graduate: $24 – $26/hour
