About the role

We are seeking a dynamic Training and Implementation co-ordinator to lead training initiatives for our Sumdog and Strawbees B2B brands. The role is crucial in equipping educators with the knowledge and confidence to effectively use our educational products. This individual will design and deliver engaging training programs, provide key insights from the teacher’s perspective to our product team, and represent the company at trade shows and webinars. The role requires a blend of instructional design and training delivery.

Reporting to the VP of Sales, you will focus the majority of your time initially on helping to support usage for Strawbees in our core US market. Strawbees is a globally recognized STEAM education company, offering innovative learning solutions to empower students and educators in hands-on creative exploration. We emphasize learning by doing through robotics, programming, and building tools that make education fun and engaging.

Working as part of the broader RevOps team, which includes Marketing, Sales, Support and Customer Success, you’ll be growing the awareness and recognition of the Strawbees brand within US schools and districts to help drive company growth objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

Training Development and Delivery:

  • Design, develop, and deliver engaging training programs that inspire educators to use Albert products successfully.
  • Utilize a mix of training methodologies, including virtual and in-person workshops, webinars, and self-paced online courses.
  • Ensure training materials are continuously updated, relevant, and engaging.
  • Deliver on KPIs for training completion and effectiveness, making data-driven improvements where necessary.

Onboarding:

  • Work with the existing RevOps team to manage and enhance the onboarding process for new educators to ensure a seamless transition.
  • Develop onboarding programs for new employees that align with company culture, values, and operational procedures.
  • Provide guidance and support to new hires and users during their initial engagement with our products.
  • Gather and analyze feedback to refine onboarding experiences.

Market Engagement:

  • Collaborate with sales team to align training and implementation initiatives with business goals.
  • Provide insights from educators’ experiences to inform product development and improvements.
  • Represent Albert Group at industry trade shows, conferences, and webinars, promoting Sumdog and Strawbees.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends, ensuring our training strategies remain cutting-edge and competitive.

Skills & Requirements

  • Passion for innovation in education and empowering teachers and students.
  • 2-5 years of experience in teaching, instructional coaching, or delivering professional development for educators.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
  • Experience or solid understanding of the education sector in the US
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to travel as needed for in-person training sessions and events.
  • The ability to collaborate effectively with cross-departmental teams, including Marketing, Sales, Product and Design
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise, manage tasks and keep stakeholders informed

Beneficial to have:

  • Proficiency with CRM and or reporting tools (HubSpot)
  • Connections within the STEAM/STEM industry
  • Understanding of US compliance and best practices (CAN-SPAM)
  • Familiarity with education standards such as TEKS, NGSS, and Common Core.
