Training Specialist

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8am-5pm

Pay: $28.00/Hour

We are looking for an outstanding employee who is looking to grow their career with Securitas.

As a Training Specialist, you will coordinate and deliver training programs for security officers and other employees. Acts to ensure compliance with legally mandated, contractual, and company mandated training requirements. 

What Your Day May Look Like

  • Train employees, conduct new employee orientation, mandatory licensing training, on-the-job training, along with training in health and safety practices
  • Document training as required for purposes of licensing and under the terms or client contracts
  • Work with managers and supervisors to determine training needs and approaches
  • Develop training scheduled in conjunction with management to coordinate training activities
  • Follow appropriate instructional procedures or methods, such as individual training, group instruction, self-study, lectures, demonstrations, simulation exercises, role playing, and computer-based training
  • Organize training manuals, reference library, testing and evaluation materials, multimedia visual aids, and other educations materials
  • Maintain records and prepare reports to evaluate the performance of training activities, and to monitor the progress of trainees
  • Perform tasks and duties of a similar nature and scope as required for assigned office.

Position Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Associate degree and 1 year of HR/Training experience
  • Must have reliable means of communication and transportation
  • Must have the legal right to work in the United States
  • Must have the ability to read, speak, and write English
  • Comfortable working in an office environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 applications
