Your Role:
Reporting to the Manager, Learning & Development, the Learning & Development Specialist will be a key architect in shaping how our people learn, adapt, and excel in a rapidly evolving business and technology landscape. This role is uniquely positioned at the intersection of business strategy, technology adoption, compliance, and performance enablement, ensuring crew have the knowledge and tools required to perform effectively in their roles today and adapt for tomorrow.
You will design & deliver learning experience related to functional upskilling and technical skills development (e.g., Sales training, compliance, financial upskilling, new systems and tools, and role-specific functional skills development) across the organization. You will partner closely with IT, Legal, Compliance, HR, and business unit leaders to assess needs, develop scalable learning solutions, and support teams in building clear, role-based learning pathways.
You will also take primary ownership of our L&D tech stack: administrating platforms, managing vendor partnerships, and continuously evaluating learning technologies to optimize effectiveness and innovate how we learn at scale.
Your work will be central to enabling functional excellence and operational readiness across the business.

At Vital Farms, compensation decisions are dependent upon a variety of factors, which may include, but are not limited to, skill level, experience, education, training, market demands, and business needs. A reasonable estimate of the current starting annual base salary for this position is $85,000 – $95,000. Please keep in mind that hiring at the maximum end of the range would not be typical in order to allow for potential continued future salary growth.
