Job Overview

The Learning & Development (L&D) Coordinator plays a critical role in supporting the design, delivery, measurement, and continuous improvement of our learning programs. This role is responsible to maintain and administer the companies various LMS systems, analyze training metrics, coordinate learning logistics, and create engaging learning communications. The L&D Coordinator will also support engagement initiatives, career pathing, the performance development process, the new hire orientation and assist with needs assessments and skills gap analysis to help support strong manager capability that drives retention, performance, and scalable growth. Overall content creation and development will also be a key responsibility.

Job Responsibilities

Learning Systems & Administration 

  • Administer and maintain the company Learning Management Systems (LMS’s), including course setup, creation of learning paths, enrollments, tracking, and reporting. 
  • Ensure training content and records are accurate, compliant, and audit-ready. 
  • Manage learning workflows and scheduling through the LMS systems, including training sessions, coaching, and development programs.  

Metrics, Reporting & Insights 

  • Analyze training participation, completion rates, effectiveness, and engagement metrics. 
  • Analyze data specific to our New Hire Orientation process and translate into actionable process improvements.  
  • Translate data into insights that support business decisions, manager development, and workforce planning. 
  • Track ROI indicators such as time-to-productivity, internal mobility, and manager bench strength. 
  • Produce clear, actionable dashboards and reports for Executive Leadership and HR partners. 

Training & Program Coordination 

  • Schedule and coordinate instructor-led, virtual, and blended learning programs. 
  • Support the design, facilitation logistics, and continuous improvement of New Hire Orientation.  
  • Support the design, facilitation logistics, and continuous improvement  of leadership, manager, and employee development initiatives. 
  • Gather learner feedback and turn it into program improvements. 

Content Creation & Communications 

  • Design learning communications, marketing flyers, and program materials. 
  • Assist in developing learning content such as job aids, guides, microlearning assets, and presentation decks. 
  • Support internal campaigns that promote learning participation and reinforce a culture of development. 
  • Assist with Manager enablement support by maintaining and curating a Manager Resource Hub (toolkits, coaching guides, performance conversation templates). 

Engagement & Performance Support 

  • Administer and track engagement and link development activity to engagement and retention outcomes. 
  • Assist HR and leaders with performance support processes, including documentation, coaching coordination, and improvement plans. 
  • Partner with leadership to reinforce performance expectations through learning tools and resources. 

Job Qualifications

  • 2 to 4 years of experience in Learning & Development, HR Operations or Project Management. 
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Learning and Development/Adult Learning, Instructional Design/ Educational Technology, Business Administration (with HR Analytics or Operations focus) or equivalent experience.   
  • Strong experience with LMS administration and HRIS platforms.  
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze data and create executive-ready reports and dashboards. 
  • Proficiency in Canva and the Microsoft Office Suite. 
  • Excellent organizational, project coordination, and communication skills. 
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. 
  • Ability to travel up to 20%
