A Taste of What You’ll Do

Join our team as a Learning & Development Specialist and help shape the skills that power our operations. You’ll assist with implementing and maintaining training programs, review and edit course materials for clarity and professional quality, and recommend improvements that boost comprehension and on-the-job performance. Working across functions, you’ll support formal training in areas like FSMA, EHS, Production, Quality, and Maintenance, and help bring Training Within Industry (TWI) on-the-job practices to life.

You’ll help execute curriculum and deliver training to audiences with varied experience levels, manage training schedules, and ensure employees—from new hires and seasonals to operation leaders—receive timely, effective instruction. Using evaluation procedures aligned with organizational guidelines, you’ll gather and analyze training metrics, maintain accurate records, and present insights to stakeholders so program success and trainee progress are clearly understood.

This role asks for a continuous improvement mindset: evaluate current materials, lead special training projects, and partner with teams to enhance processes within your area of responsibility. What You’ll Need

  • Bachelor’s degree plus 2 years of training, learning and development, education, organizational development, or instructional design experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility; OR High school diploma or State-issued equivalency certificate plus 6 years of training, learning and development, education, organizational development, or instructional design experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility.
  • Training experience that includes the delivery of instructional content for a varied audience.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills; experience with working independently and as part of a team. 
  • Skilled in the use of MS Outlook, MS Excel and MS Word at an intermediate level.
  • Required to lift and move up to 25 lbs.
  • Must be able to comply with company PPE and/or GMP requirements appropriate for the job site(s).
  • Candidate is required to have a valid driver’s license, a safe driving record and reliable vehicle (if applicable) at the time of hire. This position will undergo a motor vehicle check (MVR) to confirm a history of safe and responsible driving. If needed, candidate must obtain the appropriate state driver’s license based on the position’s location within 30 days of hire. 
  • Required to travel to company offices, sites, and/or meeting locations for onboarding, training, meetings, and events for development, department needs, and business delivery up to 5% of the time, with or without reasonable accommodation. This may be in addition to travel requirements, if applicable, as listed in this job description.
