Who We Are:

The National Multiple Sclerosis Society mobilizes people and resources to drive research for a cure and to address the challenges of everyone affected by MS. To fulfill this mission, the Society funds cutting-edge research, drives change through advocacy, facilitates professional education, collaborates with MS organizations around the world, and provides programs and services designed to help people with MS and their families move their lives forward. The Learning Partner supports the National MS Society’s mission by helping deliver impactful learning experiences across the organization. As a member of the People & Culture team, this professional collaborates with People & Culture and other teams to coordinate training programs, assist with leadership development, and promote a culture of growth and inclusion. With a focus on learning initiatives that enhance employee performance, engagement, and development, the Learning Partner brings curiosity, strong communication skills, and a service mindset to every project. 

Main Responsibilities: 

Program Development & Delivery 

  • Design and implement comprehensive learning programs, including onboarding, compliance training, technical skills development, and career development workshops. 
  • Develop engaging content using a variety of formats such as instructor-led training, e-learning modules, microlearning, and job aids. 
  • Leverage AI-powered tools and platforms to streamline content creation, personalize learning experiences, and enhance instructional design. 
  • Facilitate training sessions and workshops as needed, ensuring content is relevant, inclusive, and impactful. 

Needs Assessment & Planning 

  • Conduct skills gap analyses and uses data to prioritize learning initiatives. 
  • Align learning programs with performance goals and organizational capabilities. 

Technology & Systems Management 

  • Manage and optimize the Learning Management System (LMS), ensuring content is current, accessible, and user-friendly. 
  • Evaluate and implement digital learning tools and platforms to enhance the learner experience. 

 Measurement & Continuous Improvement 

  • Establish clear metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of learning programs. 
  • Collect and analyze feedback, performance data, and business outcomes to refine and improve learning solutions. 
  • Maintain accurate records of training activities and compliance requirements. 

Collaboration & Communication 

  • Work cross-functionally with People & Culture team, department heads, and subject matter experts to ensure learning initiatives are relevant and well-integrated. 
  • Communicate learning opportunities and resources across the organization to drive participation and engagement. 
  • Support internal knowledge-sharing and peer learning initiatives. 

 What We’re Looking For:  

  • Bachelor’s degree- Human Resources, Education, Organizational Development, Psychology, or a related field or equivalent relevant work experience. 
  • Experience in learning and development, instructional design, a related HR function or nonprofit experience.  
  • Strong understanding of adult learning principles, instructional design models (e.g., ADDIE), and training evaluation methods (e.g., Kirkpatrick Model). 
  • Proficiency with LMS platforms and digital learning tools (e.g., Workday, Talent LMS Articulate or Coursebox). 
  • Excellent facilitation, communication, and project management skills. 
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and adapt to changing priorities. 

Location Requirements

  • Remote – Flexible Location
  • Willingness and ability to travel 20% or more for internal planning sessions, regional meetings, and organizational events 
  • ​Work is primarily performed remotely, however, when possible and necessary, teams meet in person to conduct the business of the organization and build team relationships. 

Compensation | Benefits:

The estimated hiring compensation range for this role is $55,000-$65,000. Final offers will be based on the candidate’s geographic location, consider career experience and may vary from this range due to these and other factors.
