Professional Learning Facilitator (Contract)
MagicSchool is seeking experienced educators to facilitate engaging professional learning experiences that help schools and districts integrate AI thoughtfully and effectively.
Professional Learning Facilitators (PLFs) deliver live virtual and/or in-person sessions that support educators in understanding MagicSchool tools, best practices, and instructional applications.
This is a contract role with flexible hours based on demand. This role is seasonal in nature. Contractors should expect periods of sustained high volume – most notably during the summer and peak moments of the school year – interspersed with slower periods. Availability during peak times is essential. We will be prioritizing candidates who have availability before, during and after school hours in their time zone.
Primary Purpose
Deliver consistent, high-quality MagicSchool professional learning using established content while building facilitation expertise, platform fluency, and confidence in virtual PD environments.
Typical Facilitation Scope
- Introductory and foundational virtual PD sessions
- Platform overviews and core MagicSchool workflows
- Co-facilitation or shadowing in advanced sessions
- Lower-stakes, standardized engagements
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver pre-designed MagicSchool PD sessions with fidelity
- Implement light customization using approved content and facilitation guides
- Represent MagicSchool as a trusted thought partner and facilitator
- Support instructional material updates and feedback collection
- Complete required logistics:
- Pre/post-session reminders
- Feedback and reflection processes
- Participate in required contractor meetings and calibration sessions
Experience & Skill Profile
- Current or former classroom educator (or equivalent education experience), with a minimum of 3 years of classroom experience.
- MagicSchool platform fluency with required certifications completed
- Proven expertise facilitating adult learners in either virtual or in-person environments
- Exceptional facilitation presence and instructional judgment
- Clear, professional communication and strong reliability
