Overview
The Sr. Program Manager, Learning Solutions will own the strategy, operations, and optimization of GitHub’s global learning infrastructure. This role is responsible for managing the end-to-end systems powering our public, customer, and partner learning experiences—including GitHub Learn, Pearson VUE, Microsoft Learn, GitHub Skills, and integrated third-party platforms.
This individual contributes to the analysis, design, development, evaluation, and management of learning programs and initiatives by identifying organizational and learning needs, securing resources, communicating with stakeholders, and prioritizing work. Collects data to see how successfully the content is meeting pre-established learning objectives for specific deliverables. Uses data to prioritize analyses to execute on, define capability gaps for the business, improve benchmarking, and execute on learning priorities through learner-centric methodology. Initiates, facilitates, and implements core learning programs. Evaluates and analyzes ongoing effectiveness of programs. Supports and escalates customer/stakeholder needs. Organizes systems for documenting, storing, and retrieving items. Manages information architecture frameworks and content management processes. Accesses recent research and content experts in Learning and Development to inform best practices.
By combining technical program management, data-driven insights, and change management best practices, this role ensures that GitHub’s learning ecosystem delivers seamless learner journeys, trusted credential reporting, and actionable insights that drive adoption of GitHub products at scale.

Compensation Range
The base salary range for this job is USD $96,400.00 – USD $255,700.00 /Yr.
These pay ranges are intended to cover roles based across the United States. An individual’s base pay depends on various factors including geographical location and review of experience, knowledge, skills, abilities of the applicant. At GitHub certain roles are eligible for benefits and additional rewards, including annual bonus and stock. These rewards are allocated based on individual impact in role. In addition, certain roles also have the opportunity to earn sales incentives based on revenue or utilization, depending on the terms of the plan and the employee’s role.
