The pay range is $92,000.00 – $166,000.00

A role with Target Media Network (TMN) is an opportunity to represent the company in the sales of digital media, advertising and custom marketing campaign solutions to the national media and advertising agency market. You’ll develop and present market-leading media strategies and smart solutions that exceed our clients’ needs—all with a focus on delivering on Target’s unmatched brand promise. Your challenge will be to lead the RFP process including reviewing responses, writing proposals, coordinating insertion orders and managing client contact reports. Use your strong communication skills and digital media experience to tell the story of Target’s key differentiators in the media and ad markets. As a Lead TMN Training Consultant you will help drive best-in-class learning plans for Target’s digital advertising business and report to TMN’s Director of Training & Enablement. You are an experienced and dynamic learning professional with in-depth project management, instructional design, and strong relationship building skills. You must possess experience and a proven track record of designing and developing engaging learning curriculum, course content, and compelling learning activities that maximize speed to competency and tie to TMN’s business objectives. As a Lead TMN Training Consultant you are responsible for driving the sales team’s education strategy and are the champion for learning! You own taking new digital marketing concepts, trends, products, and technology and making them easy for the team to understand and apply to their business. Given the dynamic nature of the TMN business a curious spirit is required as new products and solutions are constantly developed. A Lead TMN Training Consultant will partner with digital marketing experts, sales, media, and a variety of internal teams to create an organized intuitive learning curriculum that equips our salesforce to drive TMN ad revenue! Ultimately a Lead TMN Training Consultant is responsible for TMN Sales’ end-to-end learning plan and works with our executive leadership to determine the most important learning topics that will drive our business forward.

About you:

  • Four-year degree or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of training experience
  • Proven working experience in instructional design and with instructional technology, preferably in a corporate environment
  • Experience integrating technology to achieve learning goals: leveraged emerging technologies (such as Augmented Reality, Virtual Reality, and Mobile)
  • Experience with marrying adult learning theory/research with the practical business needs of an organization
  • Excellent curriculum, course, lesson, and content development skills
  • Knowledge of Instructional Design learning theories, processes and instructional design models
  • Solid knowledge of course development software (Captivate, Storyline, InDesign)
  • Clear demonstration of influencing key stakeholders in a complex organization & ability to work through ambiguity
  • Digital marketing or advertising training experience preferred
