The Company

2025 Deloitte Technology Fast 50 Canada Recipient & Fast 500 North America Recipient

SpryPoint is modernizing how utilities serve their communities. As a high-growth software company, we’re shaking up the status quo in the utility industry with the first and only truly cloud-native customer service and operations platform purpose-built for modern utilities.

Founded by industry veterans in 2011, we’ve grown from a profitable startup to a rapidly scaling company of 300+ employees serving 100+ utility clients across North America and the Caribbean. Our mission is simple: utility leaders should expect more from their technology providers.

Utilities face urgent demand to replace inefficient legacy systems while managing increasing operational complexity, and evolving customer expectations. With more than a decade of experience, and a track record of successful implementations spanning water, electric, and gas utilities, SpryPoint has built a reputation as a trusted and mission-critical partner to utilities across North America.

We deliver comprehensive solutions including SpryCIS, SpryEngage, SpryMobile, and SpryWallet that modernize the entire meter-to-cash process. What sets us apart? Our “updates, not upgrades” approach, user-centric design, and unwavering focus on customer success.

Backed by strategic investment from Norwest Venture Partners since 2023, and an exciting new investment partnership from Insight Partners announced in 2026, we’re accelerating our growth while staying true to our core values: lead with kindness, vision with impact, radical honesty, bold disruption, keep it simple, and execute with excellence.

Join our award-winning team in transforming an essential industry that powers communities across the Americas.

The Role:

SpryPoint is in an exciting phase of growth, and we’re investing in the learning experiences that help our clients, partners, and team members thrive. As a Senior Learning Design & Enablement Specialist, you’ll be a key part of our Learning & Development team – sitting within the broader Centre of Excellence – and play a meaningful role in shaping how people learn at and through SpryPoint.

This isn’t just a content creation role. You’ll design scalable curriculum, facilitate live learning experiences, and help translate complex technical concepts into training that actually sticks. From client onboarding to internal enablement to partner certification, your work will have a direct impact on how successfully people adopt and use our products. 🎯

You’ll report to the L&D Team Leader and work closely with fellow Instructional Designers, as well as our Product Development, UI, and Service Delivery teams.

Where You’ll Work:

This role is based out of our Atlanta, GA office on a hybrid basis – we ask that you’re in the office around three days a week, though we’re flexible on which days those are and happy to find a rhythm that works for you.

Occasional travel may come up from time to time, though it’s not a regular part of the role.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Designing engaging, outcome-driven training programs for clients, partners, and internal teams
  • Facilitating live training sessions, workshops, and learning events with confidence and energy
  • Supporting client and partner enablement throughout their implementation journey
  • Translating technical documentation and subject matter expertise into effective learning experiences, activities, and assessments
  • Contributing to the development of certification programs and structured learning pathways – including helping define what great looks like
  • Creating onboarding and enablement content that sets new SpryPoint team members up for success from day one
  • Partnering with cross-functional teams to keep training current with the latest product updates and implementation best practices
  • Developing content across multiple modalities – from instructor-led sessions to self-paced digital experiences
  • Bringing fresh thinking to the team and helping shape the future of digital and e-learning at SpryPoint
  • Leveraging AI tools and emerging technologies to build modern, scalable learning experiences

What You Bring to the Table:

  • 5+ years of experience designing high-quality training for software applications, with a strong focus on skills and competency-based learning
  • A certificate or diploma with a specialization in adult instructional design, curriculum development, or a related field
  • Hands-on experience with digital learning and AI-powered tools – experience with Articulate, Synthesia, or NotebookLM is a plus
  • Proven ability to facilitate training for technical products and audiences
  • A track record of developing learning content across multiple modalities
  • Exceptional verbal communication and advanced writing skills in English
  • Strong collaboration instincts and the ability to manage stakeholders with confidence and clarity
  • A genuine passion for continuous learning and staying ahead of what’s next in L&D

What Sets You Apart:

  • Experience with certification program design and development
  • Background in the utility sector, SaaS, or software implementation
  • Experience working in a client-facing or professional services environment
  • Comfort working in a fast-paced, scaling SaaS environment where things move quickly and priorities shift
