The course is comprehensive and essential to understanding the digital teaching practices addressed in the following courses from the series. It provides the participant with solid concepts, introductions, and tutorials to acknowledge the key approaches in digital learning, the basics of interacting with a Learning Management System (LMS) and the tools available to deliver a successful learning experience.
This course is intended to instructors, teachers, instructional designers, course builders/developers, instructional and learning technologists, and anyone else with an interest in understanding online learning and the advantages brought by using technology. No major background is needed for enrollment except that the “aim to teach”, so instructors from other disciplines further than education are welcome.
The course is certified as Professional Development and awards a Blackboard Associate badge and certificate upon completion. It is guided by Blackboard Experts in Education with vast experience in the EdTech industry.
