What you can expect from ‘learning needs analysis’ course

This short course has been developed by experienced learning professional Michelle Parry- Slater and includes insights from Chris Schiller and Krystyna Gadd. It explains why training needs analysis differs from learning needs analysis (LNA) and teaches you to support a compelling needs analysis, including using the correct terminology, understanding the process, the eight areas of data collection for LNA and how to use this data effectively. You’ll also learn to make reasoned decisions, unbiased judgements, and communicate your thinking to others when evaluating large amounts of information from various sources.

At the end, you can test your understanding with a brief knowledge check. This is not a formal assessment; you can repeat it several times to help reinforce your learning.
