Location: Remote, Worldwide with preference for candidates in Ukraine

We’re looking for an experienced Instructional Designer to help transform a 50-hour classroom training on SysML and system architectures into an interactive, standalone e-learning course.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create a blueprint with a description of learning items based on the provided curriculum map and materials from SME;
• Work with the SME closely to get all the needed technical details;
• Identify inconsistencies in the provided content from SME and ask for clarifications or additional information;
• Make suggestions for Curriculum Map update;
• Based on the approved blueprints create storyboards;
• Work closely with the production team to brainstorm and design the most suitable interactive activity for each scenario, based on the type of content being taught.

Requirements: 

• 1–2+ years’ experience in instructional design for corporate/workplace training.
• Familiar with Gagné, Merrill, SAM-R, or other instructional design models.
• Comfortable with highly technical content and curious to learn new domains.
• Strong communicator and collaborative partner.
• Bonus if you have a background in learning sciences, UX design, communication, or behavioral science—and business acumen is a plus!

*The topic is highly technical and requires someone with an analytical mindset and a solid technical background. While we don’t expect deep expertise from the start, the role involves actively engaging with the subject and developing a working understanding of the core concepts and how they connect.

Project timeline: June–October/November

Availability: 10–20 hours/week (remote, flexible)
